On the 6th and 7th Day...

It was very quiet... as the kids were still down with fever and flu. Yeah, virus has attacked the household again. Spent my time cleaning a bit and trying to tie up loose ends (sorting out the study room and tidying up the store-room-cum-maid's-room-to-be-converted-into-kids-room) before the new year starts. Somehow I have the idea already on how to do it up. I just need time to do it. Maybe I spend less time blogging so i can do whatever I wanna do... for a start. How about that? Hehehe.Today I was surprised to get a Christmas card from my friend Debbie.... a pleasant surprise, indeed. I worked with her last time in Phuket, Thailand. She had to go back to the US to join her husband. It was 7 years ago since she parted. And she surprised me today by sending a card. Very sweet of her. I just wonder where she got my new address. My guess would be from either Aisha or Vivienne. Thanks for the card Deb... I love it.

Back to Christmas cards... gone are the days when everybody's busy making (real) cards. Nowadays, due to the comfort and convenience of the new technology (internet), we can easily send virtual cards. I like that, too... but it still feels nice to get a real card from friends and family. Will probably do that, too. And have to do it a.s.a.p coz Christmas is fast approaching!
