Sunway Pyramid Noticed Me!

Friends who know me know that my favorite mall is Sunway Pyramid. I never stopped blogging about it. A month ago, their marketing manager (or whatever, I forgot already - sorry) emailed me and asked permission whether they can feature my comments about Sunway Pyramid in their website. Of course I said yes without even blinking my eyes. LOL.

So, yes, now my comment is in their website, under the customers' reviews:

It's on the right side, down... if you clicked it on that link from their website, you will find the full comment:

Do I get paid for it? No lah! Sayang. But of course, a link from their website will do. Simple pleasures make us smile from time to time.

it's me,

Cars of The Twilight Saga

I know I haven't gotten over it yet. One thing that really fascinated me with Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Series was the cars she used for them.

Edward Cullen used a Silver Volvo S60R:

Edward's other care which he used for special occasion: Aston Martin Vanquish:

Porsche 911 Turbo - the bribe that Edward Cullen gave to his sister Alice to "kidnap" Bella Swan.

Emmett Cullen's Jeep Wrangler

Dr. Carlisle Cullen's Mercedes S55 AMG

Rosalie Cullen's BMW M3

Bella Swan's 1953 Chevrolet

Bella's "Before" car: Mercedes Guardian

Bella's "after" car: Ferrari F430

I really do have an affinity for appreciating cars. Even cars in the books I was reading fascinated me. Looking up in the internet to see what car Stephenie was saying was the only time I could break away from the e-book. I hope you enjoyed the cars as much I did.

it's me,

Beef Stroganoff

I just cooked beef stroganoff for dinner. It's funny because I asked hubby what he wanted to eat: beef soup or beef stew. LOL. Can you imagine his confusion over the stew and the soup? Anyway, despite his confusion, he chose beef stew. And right after I turned my back on him, I changed my mind. I wanted to try to cook beef stroganoff.

I cooked omelette for the boy, too. Girlie and hubby devoured on the beef stroganoff. Glad they liked it.

200 More Pages

If you notice a big break in between my posts, that's because I've been really busy. I haven't finished the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer yet. I am on the last book though, the Breaking Dawn. I would have finished it by now. But my sister Jirah sent me Midnight Sun, Edward's point of view in Twilight. I got sidetracked a bit. It was nice reading Edward's perspective on Bella.

I have been sleeping late recently. I just wanna finish the books! Josiet was right when she said once I start reading, I would have a hard time turning away from my computer. Now I probably need a good eye cream.

it's me,

Page Boy

One of Peter's cousins is getting married next month. And guess what, Schenker will be the page boy. This is going to be his second time to be a ring bearer. The first time was a success. He melted everybody's heart with his oh-so-cute smile while walking down the aisle. Oh well, it melted my heart, so...

I hope he's going to make it again this time. We never know with kids. Last time we bribed him. He's been asking for a bubble gun then, a big one. Right after my brother-in-law's wedding, we headed straight to Toys 'R Us to buy him the bubble gun. Now we don't know what he wants... I hope it's not another gun.

One thing I'm sure though is that he really looks so dazzling with a coat and tie. I'm sure he would look great in a tuxedo as well. We just prefer him with coat and tie. He's gonna use the same suit he wore on his uncle's wedding. It still fits right with him.

it's me,

Equatorial Hotel

Equatorial Cameron Highlands

This place has always been memorable for me and Peter. A friend gave us a honeymoon package as a wedding present, for 5 days. Equatorial Hotel is at the highest peak of Cameron Highlands, in Brinchang, perched at 1,628 meters above sea level.

We haven't gone back to stay there ever since our honeymoon. But everytime we go to Camerons, we always make sure to drive up there and see the place.

Anyways, there are other hotels in Camerons that I really really like. One of them would be the Ye Old Smoke House. Bala Chalet is also nice. But they're a bit pricey. I wonder though if downtown San Diego hotel would be pricey too, though. Having said all these, I still don't mind staying in a budget hotel while in Cameron Highlands.

Freelance Writer?

This has been my private joke. Private meaning this was only in my mind when people start asking me what I do. I would say I am a stay-at-home mom and wife (and would add a private joke - a freelance writer as well).

It has stemmed from thinking that I have been paid for posting articles and reviews. I can work on my own time, convenience at any place. I am earning a decent amount as well. So one can just easily think I am a freelance writer. LOL.

So much for my private joke. Now it is out.

Anyways, being a writer is a huge task. You have to be a person that is widely read and widely informed. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to write something that is of interest.

Speaking of writing... I can probably offer a writing services, what do you think? It is too much to ask, I know but actually there's a company that offers writing services, especially to students. The offer ranges within interesting college essay topics. It actually benefits for those students who don't have enough time to do essays, and they have to beat the deadline. You can be sure of a professional work as they have UK professional writers. You will also be assured that the essay you're needing to have will be free from plagiarism. Why don't you visit their website for more information?

Now I need to be serious in my writing because I have a lot of writing assignments waiting for me.

Twilight

Amazing.

Blogging is.

I blogged about my passport problem and a friend commented and it was a life saver.

I blogged about wanting to have a free copy of the twilight series and three friends sent me the copies!

Isn't that amazing?

Blogging really helps.

Josiet sent me the copy of the New Moon.

Rosidah sent me all the Twilight series (New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn)

My sister Jirah sent me all... plus the bonus of Midnight Sun (Edward Cullen's point of view in Twilight)

As I am writing this, I am getting copies of Eclipse and Breaking Dawn from Mimi.

Ain't life great?

Thank God for friends, indeed.

Thank God for blogs too.

I wonder if maybe I need an insurance quote and I blog about it... I wonder if somebody would send it to me too, for free. Hmmm... cheapskate, indeed.

New Moon

I know the movie is only coming out in November this year. I haven't read the book yet. My friend promised to lend me the book, along with the other two, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. Not sure whether I can wait though. If I can't have them next week when we go back to Subang Jaya, I would definitely visit MPH bookshop in Subang Parade and see whether they have those books on Sale. But of course, I am also searching for some free ebooks online. Cheapskate, I know. But what to do... with the recession going on, we can't help but think of how much we spend. And go for free ones if we have a choice. *wink*

it's me,

Cameron Highlands and Twilight

We are still in Cameron Highlands. We are on a 5-day break. It's the kids' school break so we took the opportunity to have a family break.

So what do I do when we are not on the road getting around? Watch movie and read e-book (my friend Josiet was kind enough to pass the e-book version of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer to me). So what movies have I been watching? Actually I watched the same movie for 3 times, read the e-book version two times. Am I crazy or what?

But it's not a new thing for me. I did the same thing with The Lord of The Rings. Did an 11-hour movie marathon with the trilogy, all extended version, read all four books (that included The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King). I read the Silmarilion twice as well. Oh.. and I read The Children of Hurin as well. I am a great fan of JRR Tolkien's, obviously. I found the e-book version of Isildur... but somebody just made it up. We'll see whether he can level up with Master Tolkien. I have yet to read it. (Oh, I have the original DVD for Lord of the Rings Trilogy)

I did the same thing with Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin. I saw the movie like 50 thousand times and read the book two times.

It's confirmed. I am crazy. LOL

Now I can't wait to read the sequel of the book Twilight called New Moon. One of my friends told me she has all four books. I can't wait to see the New Moon movie that is coming out in November as well. It would be good to watch it in cinema... if not, a good home theatre seating will do.

What fascinated me with Twilight is the love Bella has for Edward. Now, if only we love our Lord like that...

Our friends invited us for dinner and took us to TGI Friday's. It's their son's 3rd birthday. He ordered this: salmon with honey something. Can't remember the exact name. It looked really yummy so I took a photo of it.

Give Me Your Answers through Pictures

It's been a long time since I haven't been doing tags. I thought I have outgrown it already until I saw Gen's tag. It's quite interesting so I grabbed it.

All you have to do is :"Use Google image to search the answers to the questions below. You must choose a picture from the first page of the results, and post it as your answer. After that, tag 7 people."

7. My college major:

8. The name of my love:

Thing to do in New York

No. I am not going to New York. Yet. I have been writing about things to do in what place or country and feel the urge to write about things to do in New York too. We never know what awaits in the future, don't we? If you're curious though, I have written about things to do in Phuket, Genting Highlands, and the latest, in Phnom Penh. All in my places and memories blog.

Here are the Things to do in New York City:

1. visit museum if you're a lover of art, history and culture
2. go for harbour cruise
3. do a helicopter tour and see the statue of liberty
4. shopping, shopping, and more shopping (if you're a shopaholic)... otherwise, window shopping will do

And probably there's a lot more you can do while in New York. Our friends from the United States might want to add some more tips on where to go and what to do while in New York.

And what better way to do all these than using City Sights NY? They have double decker buses to usher you to do sight seeing around New York. I have read that they provide the most fun, interesting and entertaining sightseeing in The Big Apple!

My Drama Princess

Recently, I have blogged about sending our son to a Drama Academy. He is enjoying it there. His sister always imitates him. She loves imitating her brother so much. She is so cute. In fact, I have taken one video to capture her drama stint. Here she is:

Did I say she's our drama princess? Hmmm... in the family she is... coz... I - am still the Drama Queen. Unbeatable. LOL.

Yummy Sunday - Beef with Capsicum

I am still in a "Cambodia mode." My Yummy Sunday entry for this week is a Cambodian food - beef with loads of capsicum and I think it was cooked with coconut milk. It was really yummy.
