Car Wash

We were driving in San Diego and my husband suddenly asked our friend if there was a car wash in the US or do the people wash their cars on their own? Then I realized we didn't see any car wash nor steam cleaners while on the road. But our friend told us there are car wash services in the area. They're just situated somewhere. Anyways, there's not a lot of people that send their car for washing here coz it's really expensive. So they try to wash cars on their own. Apparently, standard of living in America is a bit high. It's kind of a challenge to live a frugal life.
